The possibilities of what you can fill this box in a bag with are endless ... perhaps some treats for that special teacher who gives your child the extra attention in class that he/she needs, or the after-school babysitter who gets your kids from the bus and helps them get their homework started while they're waiting for you to get home from work.  What a sweet way to say "thank you."

Time to bloom ...

As Stampin' Up!'s month-long celebration of National Scrapbooking Month enters its final week, Stamped Sentiments switches its focus from the various Patterns Designer Series Paper to the Bella Rose DSP with this card, complete with instructions ...

Stamps:  Bella's Bloom

Paper:  Cardstock - Riding Hood Red, Whisper White; Designer Series Paper - Bella Rose

Ink:  Classic - Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette

Tools & Accessories:  Kiwi Kiss 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon; Punches - Wide Oval, Designer Label; SNAIL; Stampin' Dimensionals

Instructions:

1. Fold 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Riding Hood Red Cardstock in half for base card and set aside.
2. Adhere three 1-3/8" x 3-3/8" Bella Rose DSP pieces to three 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" Riding Hood Red Cardstock pieces with SNAIL (Note:  Floral pattern should continue from first panel, to second, then to third).  Adhere three panels to 4" x 5-1/4" Bella Rose DSP with SNAIL.
3. Wrap 7" piece of Kiwi Kiss 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon around front of cardstock unit and adhere to back with SNAIL.  Adhere cardstock unit with ribbon to base card with SNAIL.  Tie 6" piece of Kiwi Kiss 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in knot to already attached 7" piece.  Trim ends. 
4. Punch Wide Oval from 2" x 2-1/2" piece of Riding Hood Red Cardstock and set aside.
5. Stamp "It's Time To Bloom" sentiment in Riding Hood Red Classic Ink on 2" x 2" Whisper White Cardstock.  Punch out sentiment with Designer Label Punch.
6. Stamp small flower in Pink Pirouette Classic Ink randomly on stamped designer label.  Attach to oval with Stampin' Dimensionals.
7. Adhere oval cardstock unit to base card with Stampin' Dimensionals to complete card.

"Trendy Trees" card kit for June ...

Old olive trendy tree ...

Continuing this week's feature of the various Patterns Designer Series Paper, this simple all occasion card uses just a bit of the small pin dot sheet of the Old Olive Patterns DSP ...

I used the Color Coach to determine the best color combination with the Old Olive Patterns DSP.  I love how that got me to use Elegant Eggplant for the accents.  It's a color I really like, but seldom use.  The card layout was inspired by one I saw in the Spring-Summer 2009 Idea Book & Catalog (on page 26, if you're curious).

I paper-pieced the balloon and bow in Bashful Blue Cardstock, adhering each to the base card with just a small dot of liquid glue.  Nice touch, don't you think?

These little darlings are so simple to make.  And so cute, too!  Just in case you'd like to give them a try, I'll share that the score lines on the 2-1/8" x 5-1/2" cardstock pieces are at 1-1/2", 3", and 4-1/2" and the two Hershey Kisses are adhered with a single strip of SNAIL.  Enjoy!
