So far this summer, we've had two neighborhood friends move away. A third family will be moving next month. I decided to give each of them a package of handmade cards to send to friends and family to notify them of their new address. Here are the first two designs ...
Stamps: Right At Home (Retired)
Paper: Cardstock - Very Vanilla, Close To Cocoa, Riding Hood Red (Retired); DSP - Candy Lane (Retired)
Ink: Classic - Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red (Retired)
I purposely chose a unique fold or layout design for each set of cards plus used some much-loved but retired designer series paper. And even though I used a retired stamp set for these, the "Welcome Home" stamp set (page 66 of the Idea Book & Catalog 2009-2010) would work just as well. I'll post the third design once it's complete. Stay tuned ...
The monthly card kit for August features the stamp set "For All You Do" and the "Flower Assortment Brads" accessory.
Pictured here are two card designs. With your kit, you'll get all the consumable supplies to create six of each of these two card designs for a total of twelve cards (with envelopes). Purchase the kit for $20 (plus postage, if applicable), and receive two additional full color "alternative" card designs you can make with the combined contents of your kit. In addition, you'll receive step-by-step instructions on how to complete each of the four card designs.
Special offer for August: Purchase the card kit and receive the featured stamp set, "For All You Do" (page 118 of Idea Book & Catalog 2009-2010), and the featured accessory, "Flower Assortment Brads" (page 179), at 20% off!
