Recently, I treated myself to an afternoon of "free" stamping. What is that, you ask? More often than not, when I stamp projects for posting on this website it's to showcase original work using current product. But on this particular afternoon, I allowed myself the freedom to not only copy a project I've seen elsewhere, but to also break out retired product, if need be. Here is the result ...

The original of this card was posted by fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Mary Fish. I just couldn't resist her use of last year's fall-themed designer series paper, though you could easily alter the colors of the card by substituting either Autumn Traditions (page 160 of 2009-10 Idea Book & Catalog) or Autumn Meadows (page 13 of Holiday Mini Catalog).
The choice of popping up the circular sentiment from the retired "Circle of Friendship" stamp set on Stampin' Dimensionals onto the Really Rust Designer Label punchout, as well as using the retired Mustard grosgrain, was mine, but alternatives are readily available; the "Falling Leaves" stamp set, is just one example (page 27 of 2009-10 IB&C). And the 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon is available in 19 colors so there's sure to be one (or more!) that coordinate with your card.
