New "Hostess Club" forming ...

Have you always wanted to have a monthly craft "date," enjoying a fun evening of assorted papercrafting and socializing with others while building your collection of Stampin' Up! product a little at a time?  If your answer is "yes," then my "Hostess Club" is for you!

By joining my "Hostess Club," you agree to spend $25 (plus shipping & tax) with me each month over a period of 6 months.  Once during that 6 month period you will be the "Hostess," providing the evening's simple refreshments and receiving ALL hostess benefits.  Host your own workshop during your host month and those sales could be added to the club order for even MORE benefits for YOU!

My "Hostess Club" meets in my home on the 4th Thursday of each month at 6:30p, with my next session scheduled to begin January 24th.  Each member will get to "make & take" as many as three items, depending on project complexity with all materials provided.  The easy Valentine's Day favor pictured above is one of this month's projects.

Space is limited to six so, if you're interested, your quick response to me at padrybala@fuse.net is recommended, by January 19th at the latest, please; only a spot or two remain.  If more than six are interested, or if you need to meet on a night other than the 4th Thursday, I'll add your name to the list for a possible second club.  Come join the fun!

Would you like to get together once a month with other stampers for a fun evening of stamping and assorted papercrafts AND build your collection of Stampin' Up! product a little at a time?  If your answer is "yes," then my new "Hostess Club" is for you!

Halloween banner ...

Just in time for your Halloween decor, here's the latest banner for the Occasions Banner Club ...

The colors for the panels ... Basic Black, Perfect Plum, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive ... were chosen because they are the coordinating colors for the Cast-A-Spell Designer Series Paper featured throughout.  Decorative accents were created with numerous punches and several Big Shot accessories, namely the Serif Essentials, Naturally Serif and Top Note dies, as well as one of the Texturz Backgrounds 1 plates.  Embellishments include Assorted Clips, Metal Edge Tags, Earth Elements Brads, Silver Brads, and coordinating 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon.

Given that this holiday is coming up fast (in fact, I've already seen Halloween decor in some of my neighbors homes), I'm only offering this banner as a kit to make at home (aka "Projects To Go").  All of the supplies you need (except adhesive, which can be purchased separately) and instructions will be available for local pick up or, for those of you who don't live in the Greater-Cincinnati area, can be shipped right to your door.  Cost is $30 (plus postage, if applicable).

Banner Club: Spring ...

Earlier this year I announced the Occasions Banner Club.  Pictured here is the banner I've designed for Spring ...

My original plan had been for this to have an Easter theme, but time got away from me and it's now too late for that so I went with a Spring theme.  I know, Spring officially began ten days ago on March 20th so technically I'm still late, but at least you, or the recipient of your banner, still has several months this year to display it.

I did stay true to my original plan to feature accessories from both the Pretties Kit and the Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware.  And while I had my Big Shot for Stampin' Up! out to die-cut the letters, I also used our new Texturz Plates to dry emboss the So Saffron pieces on the first and last panels.  And I just had to use the new Eyelet Border Punch ... love, love, love it!

The fee to attend a class to make this latest banner is $30 payable in advance, though I haven't set any dates yet; I'm looking for your input on that.  So if you're interested in attending, e-mail me at padrybala@fuse.net to set a date that works for both you and me.

I'm also still offering these banners as a kit you can make on your own at home.  All of the supplies you need (except adhesive, which can be purchased separately) and instructions will be available for local pick up or, for those of you who don't live in the Greater-Cincinnati area, can be shipped right to your door.  Cost is $25 each for the Spring banner kit (plus postage, if applicable).
