Ink:  Classic - Basic Gray, Gumball Green, Calypso Coral, More Mustard, Pool Party

I chose to add random touches of color to the cover with a sponge inked from a Gumball Green Classic Stampin' Pad rather than a Stampin' Spritzer and ink refill as was done at the seminar.  It's not an identical look (click photo for enlarged view), but much simpler.  I also used a different sentiment.

Playful Polka Dots ...

The time left for Stampin' Up!'s Summer Mini Catalog is growing short.  Your last chance to order is just two weeks away.  With that in mind, the next several posts here on Stamped Sentiments will feature products from the Summer Mini.  First up is the Playful Polka Dots Simply Scrappin' Kit ... You'll find everything you need to easily embellish and preserve your summer memories with the bright colors and playful designs in this kit.  It's so handy, you'll have more time to make more memories!  Kit includes three sheets each of 12" x 12" double-sided paper; two sheets each of 12" x 12" textured card stock; three 12" x 12" self-adhesive die-cut image sheets (two 6" x 12" sheets are connected to create each 12" x 12" sheet).

But if you'd rather use your kit for cardmaking, that's quite alright.  In fact, that's what I've done for this project ...

Halloween treat box ...

It's only early September, but thoughts are already turning to Fall and that means Halloween is just around the corner.  Why not make up a batch of these cute treat boxes for your little ghosts and goblins ...

Stamps:  Pumpkin Patch (from Holiday Mini Catalog)

Paper:  Cardstock - Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White

Ink:  Classic - Basic Black, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie

Tools & Accessories:  Treat Box Pattern, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Dimensionals

Instructions:

1. Using Treat Box Pattern (see link provided above), trace or print pattern on Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, then cut out and score.
2. Stamp grass image in Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink on unassembled box.  Assemble box with Sticky Strip.
3. Stamp pumpkin image in Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink, face and stem images in Chocolate Chip Classic Ink, and grass and curly vine images in Old Olive Classic Ink on Whisper White Cardstock.  Adhere to treat box using Stampin' Dimensionals.
4. Stamp "from our patch to yours" sentiment in Basic Black Classic Ink on top of treat box.
