I'd only just shared with you Stampin' Up!'s second new photopolymer stamp set "Bombs Away Birthday;" well, now there's two more!

To keep the excitement up about this hip product, I decided that one new set this month just wasn’t enough . . . so now there are two new sets: Show & Tell 1 (#133450) and Show & Tell 2 (#133481).  They were both inspired by fashion and by chevron, arrow, and geometric shape trends that coordinate with one another beautifully.

When I started thinking about what type of stamp set I would enjoy using, I just knew it needed to be versatile, fresh, and buildable; nothing is more fun than building something beautifully unique, as well as having lots of options!  Usability was a huge factor when I was designing this set, so I spent time picking the brain of one of my favorite concept designers, Jen C., who worked with me to make sure we got this one right.



I love treat bags, gift packaging, and of course cards, but there are so many other wonderful things you can create using this stamp set.  I’m a messy crafter and would describe my method of madness as organic and fluid—and you will see this while viewing my samples.

 As mentioned in the introductory post, photopolymer stamps are being offered on a trial basis.  Based on popularity, Stampin' Up! hopes to release more photopolymer stamps over the coming months (though they have no current plans to offer a line of photopolymer as expansive as their wood-mount and clear-mount lines).  There won't be a standard amount of time that each set is offered; there's no guarantee they'll be available tomorrow.

April Paper Pumpkin: Seriously ...

I was so excited when my April Paper Pumpkin Kit arrived in the mail from Stampin' Up! soon after my return from the Baltimore Regional Seminar.

They'd given us a sneak peek at the kit at this event so I was anxious to get it in my hands and create my four cards ... yes, I chose to make each card different than as instructed.  And I'm sharing them all with you! ...

 

 

 

 

 

For the first card, I chose to change the orientation of the Very Vanilla/Old Olive die-cut to vertical and pop up the "seriously" sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals (simply use an Embossing Buddy (#103083) to remove the stickiness from the self-adhesive die-cut) ...

I chose a horizontal orientation for the second card ...

For the third card, I once again went vertical but chose not to tie the Linen Thread in a bow, instead criss-crossing it through the Silver Basics Designer Button ...

And I chose a horizontal orientation for the fourth and final card, again opting against a bow ...

Papercrafting on the go ...

Lucky me gets to attend Stampin' Up!'s Regional Seminar this Saturday in Baltimore, Maryland with a fellow demonstrator and friend from Delaware.  But before we meet up for our fun girls weekend, I'm in the area visiting with family.

Since I didn't have a chance to make any cards for swapping before leaving home, I'm papercrafting on the go with these limited supplies ... Whisper White, Island Indigo, Wild Wasabi, Pool Party and Chocolate Chip are the colors I chose (except the Baker's Twine which is Early Espresso).  I've also got a stamp set and a few punches, but that's it.
